So I am throwing my friend a baby shower in 2 weeks and I am so excited I have been making all kinds of decorations for it!! You know me, I tend to go a little overboard sometimes...
The baby's nursery will have a beach/Hawaiian theme so I wanted to keep the baby shower along the same lines... but I really didn't want to do a Luau... So it's beach/surfing themed!!
Here are the invitations- I made them with a new stamp set that I got from my Close To My Heart consultant. (The palm tree and birds on the envelope are from a different stamp set). I used the Mod Podge Dimensional Magic stuff to make the surf boards glossy and thick.
So cute right?!
I saw an origami pineapple on this awesome lady's blog (here) and I totally thought they would be so cute for the baby shower!
So here are the Pineapple decorations- I think I might hang them, or I could put them in a large bowl for a table centerpiece. What do you think?
I learned how to make them from this YouTube video. In case you want to make some for your own upcoming parties!! I used scrapbook paper instead of origami paper, since that's what I have laying around.

Wedding Card and a few more pics
The wedding colors were pink and lime green, so I made a tri-fold card to coordinate and coincidentally it goes right along with Day 67- Think Pink challenge over at 365Cards!!

365 Cards Day 45 - Tri fold card
I just made this today to try and catch up on all the challenges for Scor-it week. I love this blog and am having so much fun playing along and blog hopping to see everyone's beautiful work, I am feeling a little inferior, but very very inspired! Thank you for all your sweet comments! I'm trying to leave some love everywhere I look for you too!
I'll probably end up stamping a sentiment on the green tab once I know who to give it to. Same with the inside, I love to decorate and personalize all the accessories, like the inside and the envelope.

I saw this tri-fold idea in a card folding book I bought, I love the little belt thing that holds it closed. Just slide the tab under the flower.
365 Cards Day 46 - Matchbook Card
I ran across this awesome blog and have wanted to join one of their challenges for weeks, but have been having a hard time finding the spare time to make a card. I happened to have just made this a couple days ago!! Hope it will count!

I think I made this on the day that they had the Gift Card challenge, but didn't enter it in time. I wish I could get into this whole blogging thing better!! I stink at posting! Thanks for looking.
