Mobile to Match Target Bedding Set

Seriously, I have been making a ton of mobiles! I just thought it would be easier to keep them separated in different posts.

This one was made to match this cute bedding set from Target. Although the bedding has owls on it, the customer really wanted butterflies and flowers, so that's what I did. An Owl mobile would have been SO cute! Maybe I'll do one anyway someday and see if it sells. Anyway, here's the pictures the customer sent me, the child's room is pink and yellow, so I had to incorporate that as well as the bedding colors.

She requested white fabric on the hoop, so here's what I came up with:

I really love the orange in the mobile, that's a new one for me. It's fun creating things for other people's tastes, yet putting some of myself into the design. This fabric was really pretty too, I think I will try using it in other colors in the future.

Paper Mobile: Pink and Grey, Black and White

This one was an order I got from an ETSY customer. To match her pink, grey, black and white bedding. Originally the picture she sent me was too small to see any detail, but now for some reason it's big. I kinda wish I would have used dark pink fabric for it now that I clearly see the blanket........ dang it.

Here's the blanket:

Here's what I made:
So, I think it turned out pretty. It's different. But I really liked the varied sizes of diamonds I put on it. It was difficult finding dark pink papers! I did the best I could with what I could find...

Mobile- Pink and Green

Okay, so a lot of you might have already seen pictures of this mobile, since I have pics of it up on my facebook, and in my ETSY shop. But it's too pretty not to post on my blog as well.

Originally I really wanted to make this mobile with some cute paper hearts like these:

Since the room has a quilt on the wall with hearts and diamonds on it. But, I also wanted to make sure that she got origami flowers on her mobile because that's what she originally said she wanted.

I love it when people give me complete creative control, but I also need some boundaries sometimes... Anyways, the origami flowers just didn't mesh well with the paper hearts on the mobile together. I ended up making her a mobile AND a garland just so I could do those cute hearts!

I love this last picture because you can actually see how the flowers spiral downward around the outside of the mobile!  And here's the garland!

See the mobile in the mirror?!! So cute! I love how cute her room turned out! Thanks for stopping by!

If you like this, you can get one of your own to match your child's room by visiting my ETSY shop!

So busy!

Sorry, I haven't posted for a while. I really am trying to be better at blogging! :-)   I have been super busy with moving into our new house, and my ETSY shop getting TONS of orders!!  It's great, but a lot of work.  I can't wait to show you the 5 new mobiles I'm making!! LOL!

Here's a sneak peak at some upcoming posts...

I also want to give a SHOUT OUT to my favorite machine in the world.... my CRICUT! And the awesome team at Provocraft for mentioning my Little Lamb Baby Shower in their World Wide Online Newsletter!  It's not much, but it's kinda a big deal to me.  My post on the cricut messageboard has had 63,000 views in the last 2 days! And lots of traffic directed to my blog!

I appreciate all the kind comments from some (hopefully) new friends! The cricut community is the BEST! I get so many great ideas from the talented people who post all their projects on there! Here's the link to the Cricut Newletter, and from there you can click on the link to my Little Lamb Baby Shower post on the messageboard.

ALSO, (Wow, this supposed-to-be short post is turning into a lengthy one)  I was also mentioned on an awesome blog:
